OBJECTIVES:
- To learn about different Vertebrates Animals.
- To work in groups.
- To use Power Point to present the work
- To use Word to hand in the work.
- To use Internet to present assignments.
- To use English to talk about Science.
TASKS
- In groups of four choose one type of animals. Make sure that all the groups have a different category to avoid repetition:
- Mammals
Vertebrates - Reptiles
- Amphibians
- Birds
- Fish
- Amphibians
- Birds
- Fish
- Once each group has its category, start choosing eight animals. So each group will deal with eight animals from the category chosen.
- In your group, each student will be in charge of two animals. So by this, I mean that each student will talk about the animals (talking about their characteristics, habitat, what they eat, etc; all the necessary information) To do this, you have to find out information in the Internet or encyclopedias. Remember to download a picture of each animal as you will use them later.
- You will have to present your assignment in a power point presentation and then, you have to hand in it in a word document.
- You are going to present your work following these steps:
- With Animoto, present the eight animals with pictures and images. Include a title and a brief description.
- One student will talk about the category of the animal chosen and then you will present the whole assignment with Power Point. Include pictures and if you want, videos; which would be great.

Evaluation Criteria
- Develop the right topic and not others.(if I have asked ANIMALS, do not write your assignment on TREES or something else).Correct use of vocabulary in the oral part, being accurate and fluent.
- Properly use of the computer and the website. Follow all the items requested.
- Correct use of Power Point and Word.
- Be specific and brief. Relevant.
- The reading material: all the students should know all the work despite the fact that it is divided into the members.
