Using PHRASR :Presenting short different quotes/phrases in an easy and entertaining way

OJECTIVES

• To use the imagination to create interesting phrases.
• To be able to present phrases in a new way.
• To explore the website fully.

TASKS

• We are going to work with  http://www.pimpampum.net/phrasr/ but before, go to http://florencia123-teachingenglish.blogspot.com/2011/10/creating-animated-phrases-with-phrasr_18.html to see how to start working with the website. You will find explanations and examples.
• The topics to deal with are: Love, Life and Happiness. The steps to follow with the three of them are:

-         Go to website I’ll write below

-         Choose one quote/phrase related to the topic.

-         Go to http://www.pimpampum.net/phrasr/ and create a presentation with it.

-         Create another presentation in PHRASR ( it should be your own creation) with the corresponding topic.

This steps should be followed for Love-Life and Happiness.

  

• Let’s start with Love. Go to http://www.inspirationalspark.com/love-phrases.html and choose one of them to do the presentation on the website.

• Once you have decided, go to http://www.pimpampum.net/phrasr/. First create the presentation of the phrase you have chosen and then create another one related to the theme LOVE.

• Now, “Life”. Go to http://www.inspirationalspark.com/life-quotes.html and then, follow the same steps as you did with LOVE.

• Happiness, go to http://www.motivational-well-being.com/happiness-quotes.html or http://www.quotegarden.com/happiness.html and do the same as before.

• Remember that in this website you have an ARCHIVE to see your phrases.

Evaluation Criteria

• The creativity- how you used your imagination
• How you worked in the website.
• The inclusion of all the items required.
